Library Services

Our library is up and running again! Drop in Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 4:00 (closed for lunch 12-1 daily)

  • Laminating ($ 2.00 per foot to be paid upon pick up. Cash only)
Communities Together for Children EarlyON

Northwood EarlyON is located at 425 Edward Street N (suite #11) in Northwood Mall. 

The entrance is the small door in the corner by the Bank of Montreal.

The goal of our programming is to support active learning through exploration, play and inquiry by offering a space that respects belonging, wellbeing, engagement and expression.

KeyON Calendar

Indoor Active Play

All children aged newborn to 6 years old are welcome. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to follow their child’s lead and immerse themselves in the wonder that children experience through play and exploration. Our environment is designed to foster children’s well being, belonging, expression and engagement. Children, families and educators are viewed as co- learners, learning with children, about children, and from children. 

Babies Day 

Babies Day Out Program is for infants 0-12 months old, we will gather indoors ( located at 425 Edward Street North) to share conversation about infant development and topics every other week by special guests. 

Connect

This program is open to children 0-6* with a disability along with their parent/caregiver and siblings.

Join us in a fun, safe, environment to engage in a variety of activities, find out about other family services in your community and, connect with other families with young children

*age will be based on abilities rather than years since birth for this group

Time with Toddlers

Join us with your toddler as they begin to explore their abilities, to assert their independence, forge their identity and experience their boundaries!

Dads Group

Dads Group Thunder Bay is a place for Dad to come and find resources, support, fun activities and a feeling of community.  We welcome questions, comments and ideas that further enhance positive conversations of those engaged in fatherhood.  We all have struggles at times and Dads Group Thunder Bay wants to be a safe place to turn to when needed.
Our Dads Group allows Dad to have an opportunity to engage with their children, network with other Dads and to HAVE FUN!! All dads, step dads, grandpas, uncles and male identified caregivers are welcome to join us every Wednesday from 5:30 to 8 pm.
